We are delighted to announce the agenda of this years’ INCONTRI. As always, INCONTRI keeps trying hard to stay at the forefront of the chances and challenges that will inevitably affect the future of the TV and film business. For the first time ever, the content chiefs of Italian and German Telecom, Daniela Biscarini and Peter Kerckhoff, will be united on one stage and talk about their ambitions to produce original content. We will also hear more about some eagerly expected new European series – “Acht Tage” by Michael Krummenacher and Oscar-winner Stefan Ruzowitzky, “ZeroZeroZero” by Stefano Sollima and the new Italian Netflix Original “Baby”. Sarah Doole, Director of Global Drama, FremantleMedia Group, and Kathleen McCaffrey, Vice President Drama Programming, HBO, will tell us more about the making of and the strategy behind „My Brilliant Friend” while young, imaginative and digitally oriented producers Mathieu van de Velde (Co-Founder & Managing Director, Black Sheep Films) and Dirk Rosenlöcher (Writer / Director / Producer, diro.tv) will show us how they’re working with new mobile shortform platforms. With all those new trends comes a beautiful realization: The world is opening up to creative collaborations that wouldn’t have been imaginable a couple years ago. With this in mind, we are very excited about INCONTRI #8 and are looking forward to welcoming our guests in a few weeks.
