Iceman – A case study
Five thousand years ago, a man went hunting. When he comes back, he finds his hut burnt down and his family murdered. The German-Italian coproduction Iceman directed by Felix Randau tells the story of well-known Ötzi as a revenge-thriller taking place in South Tyrol’s glaciers with German actor Jürgen Vogel in the leading part. Already supported by IDM and ZDF – Das kleine Fernsehspiel, Iceman is currently in the financing stage. Jan Krüger (Port au Prince) and Maja Wieser Benedetti (Echo Film) will deliver insight into the genesis of their cooperation and their complex financing strategy.
The case study is hosted by Cornelia Hammelmann (DFFF) and Christiana Wertz (IDM).
